Dr Mehta is an awesome specialist. He is meticulous, careful, talented, kind and caring. I was very worried in the beginning. I had been to 3 other specialists, all over the state of Florida. After meeting with Dr. Mehta, I know I would be in good hands. I would be a difficult client due to my situation. But Dr. Mehta has a team of specialists on board. I was in good hands. Now that it's done .... Total implants - top and bottom, look great, feel good. I've had many compliments on my teeth. I can finally eat regular food again, it has been a long time coming. Dr Mehta and his staff are great. They successfully implanted two teeth and added a couple of crowns after having ongoing issues with several other dentists, who overcharged and weren't very good in hindsight. I was afraid to go back to a dentist. My teeth have always been a mess. Six years previously, I had a “deep cleaning” that left me apoplectic with pain. I was already exhausted from the painful situation that brought me in, but with no ability to prescribe stronger pain relief over the weekend, I was cooked and left to stew. This pain-a-palooza event caused my dentist aversion for years afterwards… Recently, I got an infection. Oh…I waited it out, did the best I could with high frequency brushing, oral rinses, water pics, etc… It wasn’t getting better. Reluctantly, childishly delayed by my fears. I start my search for a new dentist. Luck, fate, karma-call it what you like, I found Eastlake Center. From the moment I entered the office, it felt calming and I was assured that Dr. M would take good care of me. They did not lie to me. First impression, a quiet calm man, that takes great measure to understand and relay that back to you. Unfortunately he had the job of extracting and prepping my now rotted root canal. I knew there would be some pain, but he took great care and time avoiding as much pain as possible. Best I can describe it is “he only touched my soul twice” during the procedure. Recovery was almost pain free, and I didn’t need anything but Tylenol to get through. Also, his staff is friendly, courteous, they build good rapport with the patients. Billing is on point with no surprises. Bonus: Waiting room has a gravity massage chair… TLDR: If you have PTSD from another dentist’s office, or are sick of extra surprise fees, Dr. M & staff will get you through.

Positively happy with my results I have a front tooth that needed an implant. The doctor is very professional and knowledgeable the best around in my opinion worth every penny. From top to bottom you are in a clean environment and the expertise is far above any practice I have encountered. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who needs implants, restorative work or root canals. Dr. Meta is an excellent dentist in various specialties. I have had teeth cleaning as well, basic dentistry work. I highly recommend this practice above and beyond any dentist I have seen in the past 40 plus years in Pinellas County.

Dr Mehta is one of the best dentist/oral surgeons I have ever encountered. His is the only dental work that has remained in my mouth without further issues, loosening or coming out completely. I have seen at least four other dentist in the eight years I have been here and not ONE of the procedures remained in tact. One dentist tried to tell me that I needed a root canal in a tooth in which it had already been done. With Dr Mehta you can relax and rest assured that he is not just there to make money. He TRULY cares about his patients and the level of care and accuracy he provides to each patient. Two thumbs up to him and his staff.

I love this place! The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the doctor is patient, knowledgeable, capable and kind. He will never recommend or push on you a dental procedure you don’t actually need, and will only work on the issues that actually need attention, unlike some practices that try to get you to do numerous procedures just for business. It’s very easy to get appointments here and the place is never overly crowded. The ambience is professional, aesthetically pleasing, and clean and the staff make you feel right at home.

It has been about one year since I started the process of having a molar implant done by Dr. Mehta. He has a lot of awards, recognitions diplomas, certificates, etc. from implant asdociations ,which is why my husband and I chose him to do our implants. The surgery itself was pleasant enough with the medications they give and I experienced no pain in the weeks after the surgery. Some external soreness and bruising was all. Some of the process afterward was a little uncomfortable but I believe that would be the case with any other dentist. It is wonderful to be rid of the infection I had and the old root canal that had become worthless. Wonderful to have a tooth I believe I can rely on hopefully for the rest of my life. Dr.Mehta has a pleasant manner. I think Dr. Mehta's many diplomas, awards, etc. speak for his excellence in this field as his office has a whole wall dedicated to them!

I'm 78 and have had a lot of dentists and dental work in those years. Dr. Mehta is the best dentist I've had. When I discovered a small fracture in an upper molar that may have had to be pulled, my previous dentist, who did implants himself, said he would not do an implant in that area because it would be too close to my sinus cavity and I would need a "sinus lift" to augment the bone in that area. He recommended Dr. Mehta as the best dentist in the area to do that if I decided to have it done. I then went to a denture specialist about getting a partial denture instead and the dentist there also enthusiastically recommended Dr. Mehta as the best in the area for implants and said he does amazing things in difficult cases. Two months later, when out of state, the bad molar cracked and also cracked the crown on it, while also breaking off the crowns on both sides of it resulting in 4 teeth needing to pulled. 2 of those teeth formed a bridge so I lost all the remaining teeth in the upper left side. I had my out of state dentist make a partial denture for that part of my mouth and used it for 3 months. I did not like it. When I got back to Florida I went to Dr. Mehta to see about getting implants. I knew it would be done right. He did the sinus lift surgery and put in 5 implants. The whole process took a year partly for healing time, but also because of shutting down for Covid and because I leave in the summer. But now it is complete and I am delighted with my new teeth. There are now 6 crowns on 5 new implants and they look and feel completely normal. The crowns are joined together to spread the load and are very strong. They feel better to my tongue than the ones that were there before. I had two surgeries for the implants and one for gum augmentation, all done with IV sedation, which I had never had before for dental work, but was very glad I did as the process can be time consuming. Dr. Mehta and his staff are all competent, very friendly and easy to work with. When two different dentists in the area recommended him unsolicited, I felt I would be in good hands and I am. Felt listened to, understood and treated very well by staff, they have done excellent work, work i had done in 2005, you can't tell the difference between then and now! The Dr. Is always checking every 6 months to year and informs me as to choices I can make, and makes himself available after hours, checks in to see how you are doing. They receive my upmost honor! I recently was in violent car crash. Man hit me so hard I flew into next lane & hit car in front of me in different lane, I had changed dentist for awhile because of move, I'm back with Dr. Mehta because I can trust he will do what he can to give me a great smile again that the accident impaired.. last Dentist didn't seal my crown properly & caused jaw infection. . .talked well..work didn't match, careful with inexperienced dentists. Dr. Mehta is extremely meticulous and thorough. I had dental implants to replace certain teeth. Dr Mehta took his time to ensure the bone grafting and all underlying issues were properly in position before he surgically implanted my new teeth. Dr Mehta is very gentle and always made sure I was feeling OK before continuing. I am very pleased with my new implants and so happy with Dr Mehta that I’ve switched to him as my primary dentist as well. Also, the office is very good about COVID protocols.

I cannot express enough how happy my husband is with his new implants! The staff are top notch and we couldn't of asked for a better experience. My husband started the process in December of 2019 and due to Corvid the process took longer than expected, but the staff always communicated with him and did the best they could under the circumstances. We had consulted 3 different dental implant practices due to the nature of the process and level of expertise that it requires. We decided to go with Dr. Mehta. Here are the reasons why: 1. My mom was adamant to keep the majority of her natural teeth so having a round house bridge or all on 4 approach was not an option. Dr. Mehta’s approach was in sync with what she wanted. His level of expertise and level of quality in his work was the deciding factor as well. He will not move forward until everything is done correctly. It was a very lengthy process due to a total of 8 implants that were needed, but overall we appreciate his thoroughness. To provide some background, my mom had bad experiences in the past with other dentists and was very hesitant to move forward until we found someone with this level of quality care. 2. Jeannette is by far one of the best dental assistant we’ve met. She takes time to make sure my mom is comfortable and is very patient with my mom due to the language barrier. She is always on top of everything. Without her compassion and positive attitude, I think it would be very difficult for this process to finish. She dreads going to the dentist in general like most people let alone a procedure this complex. Jeannette always reassures her and makes her feel comfortable. We just appreciate her so much. We are very glad that we went with Dr. Mehta. The office staff is amazing as well.

He listened closely to me, and he answered all of my questions. Now...I really look forward to going to the dentist! I just met Dr Mehta and his staff this week, so I don't have much to report except that they were extremely nice and Faith sent me copies of the X-Rays that they took, which I'd asked for. I did not see any other patients in the waiting room or office when I was there, which indicated a laid back and not frantically busy practice. More time for each patient, I would hope. Dr Mehta spent a comfortable amount of time talking with me about my teeth and how he would address my rampant periodontal disease and remove and replace the teeth that could not be saved. I appreciated that, where some other dentist would be rushing to another patient as soon as possible. I left with a good feeling.

With his calm and friendly personality Dr. Mehta helped me overcome a lot of anxiety. He was very professional and made sure I was comfortable with the treatment. Wait time was always minimal. After one of my tooth chipped, I went to two different dentists and they both said , there is no way to save the tooth, they suggested a root canal and an implant. Then I found Dr. Mehta, I am so glad I did. Not only did he fix my tooth with a crown, but also took care of gum infection and an filling in another tooth that no Dentist could fix in last seven years ! . I just had my cleaning done at my Dentist a month ago, and they didn't even see an hole in my tooth and / or gum infection. There is no way I would go to any other Dentist then Dr. Mehta. Honest, Ethical and won't gouge you with unnecessary costly treatments. Very Highly recommended.

I went to Dr. Mayur Mehta last year for my upper molars implants after a referrals and doing some research to find “an expert” in the field. Good upper molars implants are challenging, require bone preparation, bone grafts, an expensive and time-consuming affair and I wouldn’t trust just anyone. But Dr. Mehta exceeded my expectations. He has repeatedly demonstrated a determination to achieve the best possible outcome for each of my problem He was very thorough, experienced, had combined surgical/general dental and implant experience and answered to all my concerns and performed excellent work Today after yearlong multiple visits (> 20) I have strong gorgeous bilateral upper molars. I had some other non-dental issues but his work is excellent. He truly is the whole package as a doctor/dentist and person! I’ve never been disappointed with service, quality or time. I highly recommend Dr. Mehta’s office for any kind of dental work. They work with you make you feel super comfortable at each visit. Dr. Mehta and his staff are exceptional. I actually look forward to going to the dentist after being introduced to his practice. I have never waited more than 10 minutes to be seen, even if I arrive early! Dr. Mehta has relieved a lifetime of dental anxiety for me. Anytime he saw I was even a bit uncomfortable (even if I did not voice concern), he stopped the procedure and waited for the discomfort to cease. He made me feel like I was his #1 priority, and took his time even with a simple checkup. The staff is EXTREMELY attentive, and really go out of their way to chat and make you feel at ease.
